Our history
Mastronardi Legal was established in July 2018 by Principal Solicitor, Melissa Mastronardi. Raised in Dubbo, Melissa gained extensive experience working in private law firms across Canberra, Wagga Wagga and Dubbo before making the decision to establish her own practice.
Joining Melissa from day one was Wendy, our dedicated Paralegal. Shortly after, the team expanded with the addition of Alex and Dee. In February 2019, Tim Virgona, who had previously worked alongside Melissa, seized the opportunity to join the firm as an Associate Solicitor.
The firm's early success was recognised in 2019 when Mastronardi Legal was named a finalist in the Dubbo Chamber of Commerce Rhino Awards in the Startup Superstar (Baby Rhino) category.
As the practice continued to grow, Eamon Kendall joined the team as Practice Manager in 2020. Over the following years, we were fortunate to welcome several talented team members, including our receptionist, Di. In 2026, Jasmine and Sunny joined the Mastronardi Legal team, further strengthening our commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients. Over the years, we have farewelled some valued staff members as they pursued new career opportunities, and we remain proud of the contributions they made during their time with the firm.
Mastronardi Legal has continued to achieve recognition for excellence and innovation. In 2023, we were honoured to receive the Rhino Award for Excellence in Small Business and represented Dubbo at the NSW Business Awards. Building on that success, in 2024 we proudly won the Rhino Award for Excellence in Innovation, while our own Sam Wilkin was recognised as Dubbo's Outstanding Employee.
In 2026, both Melissa Mastronardi and Tim Virgona were recognised as Recommended Lawyers in the Doyle's Guide, reflecting their commitment to delivering exceptional legal services to clients across the region.
